SCHOOL BOARD RECOGNITION
On January 16, 2012, the school board members were treated to a wonderful dinner prepared by students of the Poteet ISD Culinary Arts class.
The menu was Chicken Alfredo or Eggplant Parmesan with a side salad and french bread. Also included were wonderful appetizers and an Italian Creme Cake or a Raspberry Cheesecake and Coconut Macaroons for dessert.
The dinner was prepared by the students under the direction of Laurie Stephens, Culinary Arts teacher.
Students preparing and serving the meal were: Armando Trevino, Sarah Moreno, Kimberly Michaels, Brittany Herrera, Wesley Murphy, Joann Murphy, Amber Calderas Raymond Gonzales and Steve DeLaGarza.
